Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Infinite loop via the DeflateDecoder.decompress method in src/urllib3/response.py, where a Deflate-encoded HTTP response that signals EOF can cause the decoder to enter an infinite loop. An attacker serving a malicious response can trigger this condition, causing the client process to hang indefinitely and resulting in a crash of the affected service.
