Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Start learningUpgrade virtualenv to version 21.14.9 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the quote method in src/virtualenv/activation/xonsh/__init__.py, which uses repr() to encode string literals written into the xonsh activation script. Because repr() does not guarantee ASCII-safe output, non-ASCII characters in paths (such as a virtualenv directory containing Unicode characters) can be written into the activation script in a form that xonsh, depending on its source encoding, may misparse, allowing an attacker who controls the virtualenv path to inject and execute arbitrary code when a user activates the environment.
