Overview

vllm is an A high-throughput and memory-efficient inference and serving engine for LLMs

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the _fetch_image function in vllm/transformers_utils/processors/mimo_v2_omni.py, which directly issues HTTP requests using the requests library to attacker-supplied URLs without routing them through vLLM's controlled MediaConnector pipeline. An authenticated user can supply an image URL that causes the server to make arbitrary outbound HTTP requests, potentially reaching internal network resources and exposing sensitive data.
