How to fix?

Upgrade vllm to version 0.32.0 or higher.

Overview

vllm is an A high-throughput and memory-efficient inference and serving engine for LLMs

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via unrestricted Pillow image format handling in load_bytes and _to_pil when processing untrusted multimodal media. An attacker can supply an EPS-format image payload, causing vllm to invoke Ghostscript on the untrusted PostScript content, which enables arbitrary command execution on the server. Other dangerous stub-based formats such as WMF, BUFR, GRIB, and HDF5 are similarly reachable through the same unfiltered Image.open call.
