Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the vtkDEMReader::ReadProfiles method in IO/Image/vtkDEMReader.cxx, which derives rowId and lastRow from the file-supplied profileId[0] and profileSize[0] of a USGS DEM B-record and never checks them against the grid's numberOfRows and numberOfColumns. An attacker can write past the end of the allocated vtkImageData buffer, and crash the process, by supplying a DEM file whose profile prefix drives the *(outPtr + columnId + row * numberOfColumns) store loop beyond the image bounds. Exploitation requires the application to parse the attacker-supplied .dem file with vtkDEMReader.
