How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:10 postgresql-debuginfo to version 0:8.1.11-1.el4s1.1 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2008:0040.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream postgresql-debuginfo package and not the postgresql-debuginfo package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:10 relevant fixed versions and status.

PostgreSQL 8.1 and probably later versions, when local trust authentication is enabled and the Database Link library (dblink) is installed, allows remote attackers to access arbitrary accounts and execute arbitrary SQL queries via a dblink host parameter that proxies the connection from 127.0.0.1.
