The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through improper parsing of W3C baggage HTTP headers in the extraction process. An attacker can exhaust system resources by sending requests with an excessive number of comma-separated key-value pairs or very large values in the baggage header, leading to unbounded CPU and memory consumption. This is only exploitable if the baggage propagation style is enabled, which is the default configuration in most affected tracers.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling baggage extraction from the propagation style configuration or by capping the maximum HTTP request header size at an upstream proxy or web server.
