Upgrade decidim-core to version 0.30.9, 0.31.5, 0.32.0.rc2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the html_content process. An attacker can execute arbitrary scripts in the browsers of visitors by injecting malicious HTML or JavaScript into an HTML block that is rendered without proper sanitization. This is only exploitable if a user has administrative privileges to edit landing pages.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by restricting admin permissions to only trusted users.
