CVE-2023-34090  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-200  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade decidim-meetings to version 0.27.3 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure due to using an external library which, by default, allows filtering on all data attributes and associations. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exfiltrate non-public data from the underlying database of a Decidim instance (e.g., exfiltrating data from the user table).

Workarounds

Users who are unable to upgrade to the fixed version can disable or unpublish all meeting components from the application.
