How to fix?

Upgrade faraday to version 2.14.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) through the build_exclusive_url function. An attacker can redirect requests to an attacker-controlled host while preserving sensitive connection-scoped headers such as Authorization by supplying a protocol-relative URI object as the request target.

Note: This vulnerability bypasses the fix for CVE-2026-25765.
