CWE-416  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

A fix was pushed into the master branch but not yet published.

Overview

actix-net is a framework for composable network services (experimental).

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free. The custom implementation of a Cell primitive in the affected versions of this crate does not keep track of mutable references to the underlying data. This allows obtaining several mutable references to the same object which may result in arbitrary memory corruption, most likely use-after-free.
