Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Preservation of Permissions in the mknod process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to device nodes by exploiting improper handling of SELinux security labels and incomplete cleanup, which results in device nodes being left with incorrect default contexts.
