Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in the mkfifo process. An attacker can gain elevated privileges by exploiting a race condition to replace the FIFO with a symbolic link before permissions are set, causing the operation to affect an unintended file.
