Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition via the install process when the -D flag is used. An attacker can overwrite arbitrary files by exploiting a race condition where a path component is replaced with a symbolic link between directory creation and file creation operations.
