Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in the install process. An attacker can cause arbitrary system files to be overwritten by exploiting a race condition between the unlink and creation operations, swapping the destination path with a symbolic link during this window.
