Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Temporary File due to improper handling of an empty TMPDIR environment variable in the mktemp process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to temporary files or sensitive information by exploiting scenarios where temporary files are created in the current working directory, which may have less restrictive permissions than intended.
