Overview

gix-features is a package to integrate various capabilities using compile-time feature flags

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm due to the implementation of sha1_smol or sha1 crates without collision detection mechanisms. An attacker can create two distinct Git objects with the same hash, leading to integrity violations and potential malicious repository alterations by executing a collision attack using methods like the SHAttered or "SHA-1 is a Shambles" attacks.
