Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Symlink Attack through the checkout process. An attacker can cause arbitrary files or symlinks to be written to directories accessible by the user by crafting a malicious tree structure that exploits improper handling of symlink and directory entries during checkout. This can lead to code execution if the attacker targets files or locations that are subsequently executed by the system or user.
