Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) via the From<&[u8]> for TextRef function. An attacker can cause the client process to panic and abort by sending a specially crafted side-band packet with an empty payload during a fetch operation from a malicious remote server. No authentication is required, and this can be triggered during normal fetch operations.
