Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in the message edit validation logic. An attacker can impersonate users or spoof messages by submitting a replacement event that is not encrypted, allowing them to make it appear as though messages were sent by a victim user.
