CWE-78  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade mise to version 2026.6.4 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection through the rendering of task-include files in directories lacking a configuration file, where the tera environment has the exec function registered. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands by introducing malicious templates into a repository, which are then triggered when a user lists or tab-completes tasks after changing into the affected directory. This can occur without any trust prompt or user awareness.
