CVE-2021-20332  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-200  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade mongodb to version 2.0.0-beta or higher.

Overview

mongodb is an official MongoDB driver for Rust.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure. Credentials used by the connection pool (ConnectionPoolOptions) are included to authenticate connections in the monitoring event that is emitted when the pool is created. The user's logging infrastructure can then potentially ingest these events and unexpectedly leak the credentials.
