Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via incomplete mediation of local Unix domain socket access in the sandbox policy enforcement process. An attacker can escape sandbox confinement and perform unauthorized actions within the permissions of the invoking user by interacting with local user-scoped IPC mechanisms such as the D-Bus socket.
