Overview

pleaser is a polite regex-first sudo alternative.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Privilege Management through the TIOCSTI and TIOCLINUX ioctl operations. An attacker can escalate privileges by exploiting these ioctls.

Note: This is only exploitable if both TIOCSTI and TIOCLINUX are not disabled.
