How to fix?

Avoid using all malicious instances of the proc-macro-en package.

Overview

proc-macro-en is a malicious package. This package was compromised in a supply chain attack that silently injects a malicious build-time dependency. While the package attempts to impersonate a legitimate organization, no connection exists between them, and the vulnerable versions have since been removed from the official package manager. When compiled via cargo build, it automatically downloads and executes an unauthorized remote binary payload on the host machine, even if none of the crate's functions are called. Immediate lockfile audits, build machine isolation, and dependency rollbacks to a clean version are strongly advised.
