Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to HTTP Request Smuggling via the handling of client-supplied HTTP headers that are copied verbatim to upstream connections. An attacker can bypass access controls by injecting bare line feed characters into header values, allowing the backend to interpret a crafted header as a separate HTTP request with attacker-controlled method, path, and headers.
