CWE-264  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade sccache to version 0.4.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Privilege Escalation which allows the sccache client on Linux to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of a local sccache server. This can be achieved by preloading the code in a shared library passed to LD_PRELOAD.
