Upgrade skilo to version 0.11.1 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to UNIX Symbolic Link (Symlink) Following via the skilo add process. An attacker can access arbitrary local files by providing a malicious skill source containing symbolic links that reference sensitive files, causing their contents to be copied and exposed within the installed skill directory. This is only exploitable if the user installs skills from untrusted sources.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by only installing skills from trusted sources and inspecting skill sources for symbolic links before running the installation process.
