Overview

suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF and the Suricata community.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference via improper handling of the entropy keyword when it is not anchored to a sticky buffer. An attacker can cause a segmentation fault and disrupt service by triggering a NULL pointer dereference through crafted rules.
