Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Excessive Platform Resource Consumption within a Loop in the xff process. An attacker can cause severe slowdowns by sending specially crafted HTTP requests that exploit inefficiencies in the handling of X-Forwarded-For headers. This is only exploitable if XFF support is enabled in the eve configuration.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling XFF support in the eve configuration.
