Upgrade suricata to version 8.0.3 or higher.

Overview

suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF and the Suricata community.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion via the decompression process. An attacker can cause a stack overflow and crash the application by sending specially crafted HTTP requests that trigger infinite recursion during decompression.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by using default values for request-body-limit and response-body-limit.
