Overview
suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF and the Suricata community.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity in the smtp/mime process. An attacker can cause significant performance degradation by sending specially crafted MIME-encoded messages containing numerous URLs.
