Overview
suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF and the Suricata community.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity through inefficient handling in the dcerpc buffering process. An attacker can cause significant performance degradation by sending specially crafted network traffic that triggers excessive computational overhead.
