Overview

suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF and the Suricata community.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the http2 process. An attacker can cause memory exhaustion and force the process to be terminated by the operating system by flooding crafted HTTP2 continuation frames.
