Overview

suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF and the Suricata community.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity through inefficient handling in the krb5 buffering process. An attacker can cause significant performance degradation and resource exhaustion by sending specially crafted network traffic that triggers quadratic complexity in the buffering logic.
