How to fix?

Upgrade suricata-htp to version 8.0.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling via the Compressed HTTP data. An attacker can cause excessive memory consumption by sending specially crafted compressed HTTP data.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling LZMA decompression or limiting the response-body-limit size.
