Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource through the file and folder picker flow in the dialog plugin components. An attacker with JavaScript execution can grant recursive read/write access to an entire directory tree by getting the user to click a normal-looking OS file dialog once. The affected application then exposes more filesystem access than the user intended, and the expanded scope remains available for the lifetime of the app with no indication that recursive access was granted.
