How to fix?

Upgrade tendermint-light-client-verifier to version 0.28.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature due to a missing check of the chain IDs in the trusted and untrusted headers match. An attacker who finds a header from an untrusted chain that satisfies all other verification conditions (e.g. enough overlapping validator signatures) can fool a light client.
