Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity due to insufficient validation of delegated metadata, including missing enforcement of expiration, hash, and length checks in the load_delegations process. An attacker can bypass integrity checks for delegated targets metadata and poison the local metadata cache by providing malicious delegated metadata.
