Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through the handle_reorg function, which lacks recursion depth limits and cycle detection. An attacker can cause the process to enter an infinite loop, consuming excessive CPU and memory resources by serving specially crafted blocks with self-referencing or cyclic previous_block_hash values.
