Overview
zebrad is a The Zcash Foundation's independent, consensus-compatible implementation of a Zcash node
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity via the sync download process. An attacker can repeatedly stall node synchronization and degrade sync progress by sending specially crafted block inventory and block data over an unauthenticated P2P connection, causing global sync restarts and cancellation of all in-flight downloads.
