NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream build-mkbaselibs package and not the build-mkbaselibs package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.0 relevant fixed versions and status.

The build package before 20171128 did not check directory names during extraction of build results that allowed untrusted builds to write outside of the target system, allowing escape out of buildroots.
