CWE-674  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.0 libproxy-devel to version 0.4.15-4.3.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libproxy-devel package and not the libproxy-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.0 relevant fixed versions and status.

url::recvline in url.cpp in libproxy 0.4.x through 0.4.15 allows a remote HTTP server to trigger uncontrolled recursion via a response composed of an infinite stream that lacks a newline character. This leads to stack exhaustion.
