CWE-476  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.0 libtiff-devel to version 4.0.9-150000.45.8.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libtiff-devel package and not the libtiff-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.0 relevant fixed versions and status.

Null source pointer passed as an argument to memcpy() function within TIFFReadDirectory() in tif_dirread.c in libtiff versions from 4.0 to 4.3.0 could lead to Denial of Service via crafted TIFF file. For users that compile libtiff from sources, a fix is available with commit 561599c.
