NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libxkbcommon-x11-devel package and not the libxkbcommon-x11-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.0 relevant fixed versions and status.

Endless recursion exists in xkbcomp/expr.c in xkbcommon and libxkbcommon before 0.8.1, which could be used by local attackers to crash xkbcommon users by supplying a crafted keymap file that triggers boolean negation.
