CWE-74  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.1 go1.15-race to version 1.15.13-1.33.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream go1.15-race package and not the go1.15-race package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.1 relevant fixed versions and status.

Go before 1.15.13 and 1.16.x before 1.16.5 has functions for DNS lookups that do not validate replies from DNS servers, and thus a return value may contain an unsafe injection (e.g., XSS) that does not conform to the RFC1035 format.
