CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.1 libpoppler-devel to version 0.62.0-4.6.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libpoppler-devel package and not the libpoppler-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.1 relevant fixed versions and status.

A reachable Object::dictLookup assertion in Poppler 0.72.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service due to the lack of a check for the dict data type, as demonstrated by use of the FileSpec class (in FileSpec.cc) in pdfdetach.
