NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream apache-commons-compress package and not the apache-commons-compress package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.2 relevant fixed versions and status.

When reading a specially crafted 7Z archive, the construction of the list of codecs that decompress an entry can result in an infinite loop. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' sevenz package.
