CWE-295  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.2 go1.14-doc to version 1.14.7-1.15.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream go1.14-doc package and not the go1.14-doc package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.2 relevant fixed versions and status.

In Go before 1.13.13 and 1.14.x before 1.14.5, Certificate.Verify may lack a check on the VerifyOptions.KeyUsages EKU requirements (if VerifyOptions.Roots equals nil and the installation is on Windows). Thus, X.509 certificate verification is incomplete.
