NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libwavpack1 package and not the libwavpack1 package as distributed by SLES.
See How to fix? for SLES:15.2 relevant fixed versions and status.
An issue was discovered in WavPack 5.1.0 and earlier. The WAV parser component contains a vulnerability that allows writing to memory because ParseRiffHeaderConfig in riff.c does not reject multiple format chunks.
